Self-adhesive labels are used to personalize cars all over the world. It is a great way to make people smile or think. People can also advertise their business for free or support their football clubs through car stickers. Imagine if you could make your own car stickers to a quality that is indistinguishable from the purchased car stickers, you could not only personalise your own car, but make stickers for your friends and relatives. You could also update them as things change or when you get new ideas.

There is an ingenious way to make labels for car windows using your own computer and printer, it is as easy as making address labels, and we will describe it below for you.

There seem to be a few obstacles, because if you print a label and stick it inside the car window only the people in the car can read it, which is a bit sad.

If you print on clear labels then the writing is the wrong way round from the outside, and the adhesive can make the label look cheap. You can stick a label on the outside of the window using waterproof labels or clear labels that can be bought in small amounts from companies like Label Planet, but the problem is that people can peel them off or damage them.

So what is the solution? Just print the label you want using MS word or any text printing package, you can insert clip art, or photographs, adjust fonts and colours etc until you have created your own masterpiece. Then take a clear label which is slightly bigger than the label you have printed and stick the printed label to the clear label ADHESIVE TO ADHESIVE. This will result in your printed label facing the right way and it will have a transparent border all round it which can be used to stick it into the window.
