Well, I personally don’t like to see people taking out a piece of paper and reading his best man’s speech from it. But, hey that’s me. If you aren’t confident enough and not very fond of speaking in front of large crowds, it would be safer to ‘read’ your best man speech rather than delivering it from memory. But whatever you do, don’t try to make your speech unnecessarily too long and fancy by infusing over used jokes. All you need to do is put together a short decent best man speech. And don’t forget to practice it by reading it aloud in front of a mirror or to some friends.
