Do you have to have the maid of honor give a speech these days? Every wedding I have been at I have seen it but my sister is shy so I just wanted to skip it? I was also going to give the DJ directions not to allow anyone else to give a speech…..
Also for those who follow my drama-
I have a bad feeling my “eloping” bridesmaid’s friend will jump up and give a speech if she find out my sister doesn’t want to… And my friend can be embarrassing and crazy… so I would rather not have her talk.
I am the bride and my sister is the maid of honor.

He’s best man for a mates wedding, he doesn’t really want to share any stories about the guy because….well….most of the stories aren’t family friendly lol. Any general nice sounding speech beginning, middles or ends would be great. Don’t really want to have to pay for a speech off the net! LOL cheers.
